Star Wars: The Clone Wars - series 3!

I know the Clone Wars series has been pretty crap, especially with the unbelievably annoying and irritating Anakin and Assoka. My favoirte episodes are those that the Separatists win- my two favs being the Series fanali of Series 1 were Cad Bane frees Zero the Hutt, and my other is where Asaj Ventress frees Nute Gunray.

Now watch the series 3 trailer, and I must admit it does look pretty awsome!

Wow, looks pretty cool especially when Sidious told Dukuu to kill Ventress. Cant wait to see how that turns out.

Wow... just wow. They seem to have turned away from children's version of "The Clone Wars" and stepped into a new stage for older fans of star wars.

My favorite part is when Dooku goes to Dathomir, meets the night sisters (They're in SWG), and she says that she can give him another of Darth Maul's kind, Awesome!

I would have agreed with this until I saw the most recent episode set in the force homeworld of "Mortis" - for a start I think the chosen one is a stupid idea, and in this episode Lucas tries to prove the superority of the chosen one and even trying to change the way we view the Star Wars galaxy. Some one sereously needs to strip George Lucas of Star Wars, he is so unprofessional - Drew Karpyshyn and Timothy Zaan for example write awsome novels, they top even what Lucas can write - yet Lucas lets his daughters write various episodes of the Clone Wars. Family Guy was write in saying that had Fox had any faith in SW when it was first released they wouldn't have given Lucas control of the franchise. That way we would have got some decent prequals, other films from the expanded universe and no bloody chosen one.

The story of Ventress isn't bad though (i doubt its lucas' doing)...

Ya, he started a great thing, but he wasn't meant to finish it I think. I'm digging the Dark side son on Mortis, he's scary!

Season 3 is looking pretty good. I especially enjoyed the Savage Oppress trilogy. I wish it had lasted longer than it actually did, though. I don't know why people liked the Origin of the Force Trilogy so much. It certainly wasn't the best one to me. It was alright, but nowhere near the best episodes.

I hated the origian of the Force episodes, the people who liked that will have mostly been kids. The Ventress and Opress episodes were really good.

Ya I saw this the other day and even though I do not watch cartoon network all that much this is the one show I do enjoy. Has it already been released? I saw it a couple of weeks ago (the trailer).

Which? Origin of the Force? Or Savage Oppress?

Both of them

The last episode for the former aired last Friday. The last episode of the latter aired I think three weeks ago.

The first episodes of series 3 won't be shown here in the UK until sometime in the spring, so I've watched them all online.

Go to this website - Sidereel, and their is a list of every episode that has been released, click into it and then click search links and it presents you with a list of links to places you can see the video. The speed they delete them from some websites this is the best since it proveds dozens of choices. I use Sidereel for all by internet viewing needs.

Did anyone enjoy the newest episode? I did.

I loved the Commando droids. Nice to see Artoo have a major part in the series again. Great villain. Tarkin? OMG!!! Wonder if they'll show his exploits at Honoghr? I'd Love to see it.

Much better episode than the "Origins of the Force" Trilogy. On par with Savage Oppress.

I thought it would be nice to post this. Season 3 was great, but it seems Season Four will be even better.

BTW, I think the guy with two double-bladed lightsabers was Savage Oppress.

And the guy with the two double-bladed lightsabers wasn't Savage Oppress as with four arms he appears to be the same species as Dex, from Attack of the Clones, a Besalisk. He also appears to be a Jedi, since he's wearing the robes of the Order and has a blue and green sabre rather than a red one.

Aww! Well I hope Savage does come back. Can't say I've heard of a Besalisk, I'll check it out. BTW, I didn't see four arms.

And I think we will. I hope we also see Ventress again. Its quite likely that the episodes aren't broadcast in time order. That Kamino invasion from the last series, for example, was the immediate successor to an episode in the previous series where the CIS attacked a Republic Outpost, and the episode before the Kamino invasion, with the cadets, was the direct predecessor to the one with the Republic outpost. So the timeline went episode from series 3, then from series 2, then from series 3.
